Design Process • Understand clients and visualize clients perspective are my first step. I encourage clients bring pictures they collect. I also bring samples and pictures to help clients to focus. Define budgetary outlook in order to provide design fee with written agreement. • After signing contract, with initial payment, I start site surveying, and take photograph. Evaluate existing landscape features and architectural elements. Record the presence of pleasurable or unpleasant vistas. Get information about city and HOA requirement. • Prepare several concept drawings, after owner approved, then I start final design and working drawing. It includes specifications, construction details, planting schedule, drainage and lighting schedule. Successful design process involves detailed communication and research. • Work closely with the contractors to ensure every detail is properly implemented in a timely and professional manner.
